01 The honest maths
Colour Clash is a fifty-fifty game with a 2.5% rake on the pot. Over many duels, that rake means the average player ends up down, not up. Any individual duel can go either way, but the arithmetic over time is not in your favour.
Gambling is not a way to make an income, pay a debt, or recover a loss. If you are playing to solve a money problem, the game will make it worse. Please read the rest of this page.
02 Tools in your account
These are live controls, not a description of controls. Lowering a limit takes effect immediately. Raising or removing one takes effect after 24 hours — deliberately, so a limit cannot be lifted in the moment you most want it lifted.
A self-exclusion cannot be lifted early. Not by support, not by an administrator, not by opening a new account — we retain the record specifically so that a new registration matching it is refused. When the period ends, reinstatement requires a deliberate request and a further 24-hour delay. This is the one setting we will not undo for you, because that is the entire point of it.
03 Signs worth taking seriously
- Staking more than you planned, or more than you can afford.
- Playing to win back what you lost.
- Borrowing money, or selling things, to keep playing.
- Hiding how much you play from family or friends.
- Missing work, school, sleep or family time because of playing.
- Feeling anxious, irritable or low when you are not playing.
- Believing a colour is "due" after a run of results.
On that last one: every duel is independent. A colour that came up five times running has exactly the same one-in-two chance next time. Believing otherwise has cost people a great deal of money.
04 Getting help
If any of the above sounds familiar, talk to someone. You can start with us at info@ariplexug.com and we will apply a time out or self-exclusion for you immediately, no questions and no attempt to talk you out of it.
- National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board — the regulator for gaming in Uganda, and the body to contact about an operator's conduct.
- Mental Health Uganda — support and referral for addiction and mental health difficulties.
- Butabika National Referral Mental Hospital — Uganda's national mental health referral hospital, which handles addiction services.
- Your own doctor or a counsellor — gambling difficulty is a recognised, treatable condition.
05 Protecting others
This service is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. If you share a device, sign out when you finish and do not save the sign-in link. Software such as Google Family Link or Microsoft Family Safety can block gambling sites on a child's device.
If you believe someone under 18 is using an account, tell us at info@ariplexug.com. We will investigate, close the account and return the deposits.
06 What we commit to
- We do not offer credit, loans, or any way to stake money you do not already hold.
- We do not send marketing to anyone who is self-excluded or on a time out.
- We do not send "come back" offers to players who have stopped, or bonuses framed to recover a loss.
- We publish the rake and the true odds on the front page rather than burying them.
- We will never ask you to keep playing when you have asked us to help you stop.
